Zoe Millan didn’t just write The Axolotl War; she lived it. Battling health challenges and disabilities, she discovered storytelling as her lifeline, a way to transform pain into adventures where even the smallest creatures (like axolotls!) could become heroes.
When life felt like an endless swamp, Zoe dove into writing. Her stories are proof that anyone can create worlds, no matter how dark the tide, as long as they dare to imagine.

Fun Fact: The character Kinito was inspired by her own stubborn hope, the kind that keeps fighting, even when the fire is closing in.
